I have missed you guys. I have not been at liberty to post anything because last November, the FTC served me with a request for investigation. They took comments that I had made on NPR out of context and investigated me for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. During an interview with NPR I had stated that it was acceptable for a debt collector to friend someone on Facebook. My office had done it once in connection with a commercial debt which is clearly legal. The FTC thought that I had done that with a consumer debt and decided to take my deposition. Anyways, they finally learned that I did not violate the FDCPA. Now that I have been exonerated, we can talk some more. I really really missed you guys.
